Hello, Chuck

Yesterday while shopping at a mall in Franklin, Tennessee I met a man who knew I wrote about Converse Chuck Taylor All Stars. He recognized my ‘ChucksRUs’ license plate and said, “I met Chuck Taylor once.” I commented “WOW, I sure would have loved to meet him , but I understood he died in 2005.”
Not so ……..weary wearer of the Chuck Taylor.

Mr. Taylor lives in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. I did not know that. I am making it my obligation in life (besides worshiping GOD) to go and shake the hand of Chuck Taylor.

I already know God.

Macy’s

Looking through the Macy’s Christmas catalog, I saw a picture of a college band member wearing Converse Chuck Taylor Canvas All Stars. He had a big drum and a pair of navy blue high tops.
Where could I find the Navy Blue, Royal Blue or Carolina Blue Chuck? Not at Macy’s but at AmericanAthletics.com.
My quest for this blog in the future is to search out the Chuck Taylor High and Low tops that I see in movies, magazines and the media, and to inform other Chuck Nuts where to find them.
The Quest is On …
